Invitation for Bids for trash Removal Services for the Springfield Housing Authority
The Springfield Housing Authority will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor and materials’s public housing developments. This contract will be for five (5) years, commencing or about January 1, 2025 until December 31, 2030 pending availability of funds. The contract shall not exceed five (5) years.
The Contractor under this proposal procedure shall perform and furnish all necessary work and insurance affidavits required as described herein.
Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on forms furnished by the Springfield Housing Authority. Envelopes must be clearly marked “Bids for Trash Removal Services 2024.
All of the bidding procedures included in M.G.L. c.30B, 2 CFR Part 200 and the provisions of the “Instructions to Bidders” shall be strictly adhered to, all as most recently amended.
Bids will be received until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in the Springfield Housing Authority Purchasing Department, located at 60 Congress Street 4th Floor Springfield, Massachusetts 01104, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Boiler/Domestic Water Heater Replacement
SPRINGFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY
INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Springfield Housing Authority will receive electronic bids for the Combi Boiler/Domestic Water Heater Replacement, Reed Village, Springfield, MA.
Project consists of replacement of existing combination boiler/domestic hot water systems with new including combination boiler/domestic water heaters, pumps, expansion tanks, zone controllers, and accessories. Replacement of existing venting and combustion air piping thru the sidewall. Reworking of the existing natural gas piping infrastructure. Tenant apartment zone control replacement. Overall project electrical support to disconnect and reconnect new materials as required.
The work is estimated to cost $375,000.00.
General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance in the following Category: HVAC, and must submit a current DCAM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed Update Statement.

Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.
A voluntary pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Reed Village site, 585 Bertil Hammarlof Rd. Springfield, at which time bidders will be invited to visit the project site with the Engineer and a Springfield Housing Authority representative.
