Advertisement for site work at Reed Village, Robinson Gardens, and Dugan Apartments
The Springfield Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for site work at Reed Village, Robinson Gardens, and Dugan Apartments in Springfield, Massachusetts with the documents prepared by Waterfield Design Group.
The Project Consists of: Site work at three locations (John J. Duggan Park, Robinson Gardens, Reed Village), including concrete dumpster pads, concrete approach driveways, concrete walkways, riprap swales, bituminous concrete road patching, granite and precast concrete curbing, storm water catch basin and piping, woods thinning, mulching loam and seed, clear and grubbing, and general grading and drainage.
The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C 1701u).
The work is estimated to cost $250,000.00
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 § 39M , CFR 2 Part 200, and subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates.
General Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, Wednesday May 27, 2020 and publicly opened electronically.
Deadline for questions is May 22, 2020 by 4:00 PM and shall be in writing by email to Jacob Murray at email@example.com.
Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Springfield Housing Authority.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20th 2020 at 97 Layzon Brothers Road, Springfield, MA 01105 with the Engineer and a representative from the Springfield Housing Authority. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference or visit the site shall be no defense in failure to perform the contract terms.
